Centre management
The Management Committee consists of:
- Director
- Exeter Primary School Parent Association Representative
- Exeter Child Care Parent Representatives
- Exeter Child Care Staff Representative
- Community Representative
Functions and Responsibilities:
- To establish and review policies and statements of philosophy.
- Work with Centre Director and give clear directions and support to staff by means of monthly meetings, collaboration and policy statements
- Ensure communication and liaison between people using and working at the Centre.
- Be responsible for financial management of the Centre.
- As an employer of staff, the management committee has responsibility for the appointment and termination of staff, adhering to awards and conditions of employment and providing opportunities for staff development.
